Product Information

A pre WWII K98 one of only 190,000 produced JP Sauer und Sohn in 1938. These carbines were part of Nazi Germany's armament build up just before the out-break of WWII in 1939,  and were amongst some of the first carbines to see action. Correctly stamped with one WaA359 and two WaA214 Waffenamts, with virtually all parts matched including upper and lower wood work and complete magazine assembly. This example being used whilst German forces occupied Norway. With it eventually being captured or surrendered to Norwegian forces. Rarely seen in the UK as the vast majority remain in Norway. An excellent looking carbine with great wood work. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
