Product Information

A First World War 1908 Pieper Bayard Pocket Pistol. As the name suggests it was first introduced in 1908 and is one of the smallest pistols ever built for its cartridge size (7.65mm or .32). The Pieper factory fell into German control in 1914 but production continued with around 100,000 of these pistols being procured by Germany army and also being privately purchased by soldiers. Interestingly this pistol did have some sort of issue or regiment mark on the back of the pistol grip that has long since been rmoved. The size made it an ideal boot, pocket or hide away pistol. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired. It comes fitted with its original grips and magazine.
