This is First World War battlefield recovered German Gew98 rifle. Just visible is the makers name, Erfurt and all visible numbers are matched. Remarkably the entire original floor plate assemble is in tact and still works. The bolt, side latch and rare leaf sight are missing. A fascinating piece of WWI curio.

Deactivated to current specifications it will be supplied with a 2019 certificate of deactivation.
