A great condition Mauser Model 1914/34 pistol, chambered in 7.65mm. It has the correct crown over the letter U stamp behind the rear sight on the slide, this is the final or definitive proof marking that became law on April 1893 in Germany. Matching numbers to frame, slide and barrel with original finish and wooden grips. This example is an early transitional model that dates to 1929-1930 production of which only 66,000 were made between 1929 to 1933. The first serial number of this model started 460,000 with this pistols number 460,315 meaning it is number three hundred and fifteenth off the production line. During WWII these pistols were a popular choice and private purchase with German officers. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
