Deactivated Mauser Schnelleuer Pistol. A very interesting example, the serial number is 0261 and appears on receiver and grips. The Mauser banner normally stamped on the receiver appears to read CJARW, with Chinese wording meaning "Made in Germany" stamped on the magazine housing. With very little information regarding this available we can only assume that this pistol is an early production or a special contract. The low three digit serial would suggest the latter. Definitely worthy of some further research. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
