With all matching numbers (accept for catch release lever) WWII Luger Dated 1940, manufactured by Mauser (makers code 42) one of only 137,000 produced that year by Mauser. The pistol grip is marked with the initials S XV these marking signify that the pistol was re issued after WWII during Soviet occupation of Berlin. S=Soviet sector , XV= District. A rare find. Deactivated in 1993 to old specification it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
