Product Information

This is a rare WWII Nazi K98 that was converted from a WW1 imperial German army Gew98 rifle. During the inter war years and throughout WWII Nazi Germany set about reworking its stocks of surplus WWI Kar98 & Gew98 rifles into the K98k configuration. Barrels, bolts and woodwork were changed along with the front and rear sights. This particular example has the letter H stamped above the Spandau makers name. This is the mark of the Hannover depot who were secretly reworking rifles during the Nazi rearmament program which took place between the 1920s and 30s. The rifle has no Wehrmacht acceptance stamps on the receiver , this would suggest that was issued to a paramilitary organisation within the Nazi regime. The SS are well known to have received large quantities of these rifles.

Deactivated to current specifications with moving bolt and trigger.
