Deactivated WWI German Gew98 Rifle

This is an all matching numbers WWI German Gew98 rifle. Virtually every single part is matched, including the wood work and bolt, and is original to this rifle! It was manufactured in 1918 by Mauser and carries the correct imperial German Army acceptance stamps. It comes fitted with a period cleaning rod and sling attachment. The Gew98 was the mainstream infantry rifle used throughout the Great War by German forces and those survived were is service again during WWII. Original matched example like this one are now becoming increasingly hard to find.

Deactivated with a working action it can cocked, stripped and dry fired.
