Product Information

This is a First World War dated German Kar98 that is dated 1917 and was manufactured by Erfurt. It carries the original Great War Imperial German army acceptance stamps. During WWII it was used again by Nazi forces and is fitted with a Waffenamt stamped bolt and floor plate assembly. The wood work and forward sling mount look to have been field repaired and modified. This may have been done by a German armorer or if it was captured by the another party. Partisan forces would often use all manor of cobbled together captured weapons. A fascinating rifle with links to both world wars.

Deactivated to current specifications with moving bolt and removable magazine. This rifle can still be fully dismantled with the exception of the bolt.
