A Second World War Beretta Model 1934 dated 1940 chambered in 9mm. The simplicity, reliability and compact design of this model was very popular with German troops. So much so that when German forces occupied Italy they issued them among their forces. In 1939 The Pact of Steel, known formally as the Pact of Friendship and Alliance between Germany and Italy was signed by Hitler and Mussolini.
