Product Information

This is a very early production WWII Nazi Mauser Hsc pistol. The very first WWII Mauser Hsc was serial number 700,001. This particular example is number 730,585, meaning that it is pistol number 30,585th and dates to early 1941. A feature only found on early pistols is the lanyard hole at the base of the pistol grip. This was omitted from the design so after. Mauser only made 49,268 Hsc pistols from December 1940 to December 1941, the majority being allocated to the German army, navy and police. However, a small amount numbering just 4,658 pistols were assigned to commercial sales. This is one of those pistols owing to having just the Nazi test fire proof stamp - Eagle over N. These pistols were available for private purchase by Nazi officers, officials and members of the Nazi party. During WWII the Germans had strict gun laws with only authorised personnel permitted to own a sidearm. The pistol has its factory finish and is fitted with its original wooden grips and Mauser banner magazine.
