Product Information

This is an absolutely superb example of an early 1943 production "first variant" Nazi P38. Manufactured by Mauser under secret code "byf", it is one of only 50,000 produced in the first few months that years production and are referred to as the "First variant". These pistols fall into the serial number range of 4958a to 2119f. 1943 was also the first full years production of the p38 by Mauser with only 700 known to have been accepted in late 1942. This example dates to March of that year and is fitted with the correct type magazine used by Mauser and has letter V after the P38 wording. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
