A beautiful condition all matching numbers WWII German Mauser K98. Manufactured by Mauser (S/42) in 1937 with the correct early Nazi drop winged Weimar eagles and Mauser eagle over 63 stamps. All visible numbers are matched including the complete bolt assemble, wood work and floor plate. The stock is marked with what look to be a soldiers number or unit markings. The bluing has a lovely patina and the original wood work is all Walnut. It comes fitted with muzzle cover, sling and the correct 10 inch cleaning rod. This is one of only a handful of K98s that is pretty much untouched with no capture or other ownership stamps. A rare survivor when you consider this carbine is 80 years old! Deactivated with a working action it cane be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
