A Second World War German K98. Original manufactured by Mauser in 1941 under secret code byf 41. Post WWII it was converted and fitted with a modern Simmons scope and custom mounts. This would have been done by the Norwegian's whilst under their ownership. It still retains many original matched parts and features. During WWII the Germans used many different types and variations of K98s with scopes. The top mounted type, similar to this one proved to be one of the best. The K98 is one of few "rifles" that looks even better when in sniper / scoped form. Comes fitted with and original cleaning rod and sight hood cover. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
