Product Information

This is a WWII Nazi K98. This example was manufactured by Mauser under secret code "byf" in 1943 and that year Mauser marked their guns with Waffenamt acceptance stamp Eagle over 135. The serial number has an "a" suffix which indicates that it was made in early 43. 1943 also saw in introduction of simplified parts, note the nose cap and lack of inspectors Waffen stamps. This was done in an attempt to increase output numbers. This example was eventually captured and fell into Russian ownership.
