A lovely condition WWII German K98, manufactured Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabr Lübeck under code 237. Matching numbers to bolt, receiver and barrel with correct Waffen code WaA26, and no Russian capture markings. In 1938 only 55,000 were produced by this maker using this code just before the outbreak of the second world war. These carbines being amongst the first to see action. The codes (237) were devised by the Nazis in an attempt to deny the Allied powers intelligence agencies who and where these weapons were being manufactured by in its pre WWII armament build up. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
