Product Information

A lovely condition WWII German K98, manufactured Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabr Lübeck under code 237. Early WWII production 1939 of which only 129,000 were produced by this maker that year. Correctly Waffen code WaA214 on receiver with virtually every major part coded 214 and matching numbers to nearly every part including wood work and even some screws. The letter H on the stock indicates this carbine was issued to the German army.  The original serial number 6644a is from only the second batch that year. The additional serial number is Norwegian (HÆR meaning Hæren (Army). During WWII Norway was under German occupation, a very indication that this carbine saw action before being captured/surrendered. Rarely seen in the UK as most remain in Norway. An excellent looking carbine with great wood work.
