Product Information

An original WWII German LP-42 flare / signal pistol. The makers code "wa" stands for Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG, Abteilung Lampenfabrik, Leipzig.  Just visible is the Nazi military acceptance Waffenamt stamp. The low serial number of 20426 dates it to an early production example. It still retains some of its original grey military finish with cherry Bakelite grips and lanyard hoop. The LP-42 was used in a variety of rolls with ground and air forces. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
