Product Information

A superb condition Second World War dated Nazi MG34 Light Machine Gun. Maschinengewehr-34 (Machine gun, model of 1934) The MG-34 was designed in the early 1930s and saw service with the German army until the end of the second world war being used on all fronts. It was an outstanding weapon, well finished and manufactured to tight tolerances and hugely versatile, however it was slow and costly to mass produce. This example was manufactured by Mauser under maker code AR in 1941 with many matching numbers. Mauser only managed to produce an estimated 60,000 MG34s during WWII production, the fewest of all the main MG34 manufacturers. Covered in a plethora of Nazi Waffenamt stamps, with even the grips and some screw heads stamped. Stamped with what is believed to be unit or regiment marking "F8596" on bipod retaining stud mount. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
