Product Information

This is a WWII German MP40 Submachine gun that was manufactured by Steyr Daimler-Puch, (makers code bnz) and is dated 1942. It bears many matching numbers and has the correct Waffen acceptance stamps Eagle over 623. This example is fitted with a cherry coloured Bakelite foregrip. The MP40 is one of the most iconic weapons of the Second World War. It was only in production from 1940 to 1945 with the majority of production being allocated to the German army. If captured by British forces they were often used instead of their own weapons, plus being chambered in the same 9mm ammunition as the Sten and Browning High Power the MP40 was a favourite weapon of choice by the SAS.
