This is a WWII MP40 submachine gun. Dated 1943 it was manufactured by Steyr under secret makers code "bnz" and bears the correct acceptance stamp Eagle over 623. This MP40 is covered in Nazi Waffen acceptance stamps and sub-contractors codes and retains many matched parts. The MP40 is one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable weapons of WWII.
