Beretta Model 1934 chambered in 9mm Short (.380 ACP) auto pistol. First  introduced in 1936 it is extremely compact, simple and reliable (the gun is composed by only 39 parts). Model 34 was adopted by the Italian Army as its standard sidearm during  WWII. This gun was assigned mainly to officers and selected troops and used on all battle-fronts in Africa, Europe and Russia. Model 1934s made during the "Fascist Era" were marked not only with the year of manufacture but with Roman numerals indicating the year of the Fascist calender (starting from 1922 as 1st year). This is example with matching numbers is dated 1943 with the same years acceptance markings. Comes with an original leather holster and spare magazine. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. A superb WWII dated piece of Italian history.
