Product Information

This is a Second World War Italian Carcano M38 short rifle with military acceptance stamps and matching numbers. Dated 1941, it has the initials RE (regia esercito) the Italian army mark and is chambered in 6.5mm. In May 1939, Italy and Germany signed the "Pact of Steel" joining both countries in a military alliance. Then, in 1940 Italy entered the war with Mussolini declaring war on Britain and France. During the war both Italian and German troops used these rifles.
