Deactivated WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 38 carbine

This is a WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 38 carbine that was used a film prop. It is being sold a project and is missing a few parts, the magazine floor plate assemble, rear bolt section, barrel bands and top piece of wood work. More importantly though it still has the chrysanthemum on the receiver which were often than not group off. The stock was a two piece construction, as pictured. The bolt will still move through the cocking motion.
