Product Information

A very nice original WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle. These rifles were used exclusively by the Japanese Army during WWII, against US forces. The Type 99 was first introduced into service in 1941 and had several unique features such as monopod and anti-aircraft sight.  These rifles are by far the least common of all the Axis powers long arms. Most being captured by US forces and taken home as a war souvenirs. This examples comes fitted with an original and very rare canvas sling, plus an original hooked quillon bayonet with scarce painted wooden scabbard . Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
