Product Information

This is a faithful conversion of WWII dated German K98 fitted with a long rail Sniper rifle. This variant of German sniper rifle was introduced in 1943. Although the receiver has been scrubbed of Nazi markings, just visible is the number 4. This narrows it down to just two makers; Steyr (bnz) or Gustloff Werke (bcd). Gustloff who used a single 4 as a date code in 1944 and who along with JP Sauer were the only two producers of this variant of sniper rifle. The scope is a genuine Ajack 2.5x70 scope believed to be of WWII vintage that has a low serial number of 2663. The optics are still in excellent condition. The floor plate is from a WWI Gew98 rifle and still bears the Imperial German army acceptance stamps. Included with the rifle is an original leather sling, muzzle / sight cover, cleaning rod and reproduction leather rear sight cover. We have included an image from the collectors grade book "Sniper Variations of the German K98K rifle" of one such rifle in action. Deactivated with a working action.
