Product Information

A super condition WWII K98 manufactured by J.P.Sauer (S/147) and dated 1938. This example is virtually all matched including wood work. It is correctly marked with Waffen code “214” and “359” . The wood work bears the German Army acceptance stamp letter "H" . This carbine would have almost certainly been involved in the invasion of Norway in 1940 using their "Blitzkrieg" tactics remaining there until 1945.  After German surrendered the Nords used these captured weapons to arm its own forces. This one is marked with a rare Norwegian stamps : K.ART..... Kistartilleriet (Coastal Artillery) of which very few exist. A great looking carbine with lots of history. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

We have original slings, cleaning rods and sight hood covers available.
