An early Second World War Nazi K98. Manufactured by Mauser (42 coded) in 1939 with lots of matched parts and correct early wood work. It is correctly marked with Eagle over 63, the acceptance stamp assigned to Mauser. The K98 is one of the most identifiable German weapons, being issued to all branches of the Nazi regime and seeing service on all fronts throughout the war.  Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
