Product Information

This is a WWII German K98 that was reworked and reissued to Yugoslav forces. Many of the parts on this rifle were originally made during the latter stages of WWII. When the factory fell back into Yugoslavian control they restarting production using the partly finished receivers and any available parts. The original German markings were scrubbed off the receiver and replaced by the Yugoslav Crest. The original Nazi designation "Mod. 98" had the  "/48" added. On the left side of the receiver ring is the Serbian Cyrillic script that means "Radionica 124" or translated as "Military Workshop" number 124. On the stock the initials 1.TRZ are also Serbian factory markings. The letter N in the serial number denotes that it was made from Nazi parts. The complete bolt assembly is all matched and carries Nazi Waffenamt Eagle over 63 and rear sight Eagle over 214. The nose cap is the correct late war Kreigsmodell type is use during this period. A fascinating K98. The overall condition is excellent. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked stripped and dry fired.
