A very unusual and intriguing Nazi marked Mauser HSc pistol. All the markings indicate that it is a Second World War production pistol. Clearly visible are the Nazi Waffen code, Eagle over 135, with nitro proof eagles over N on slide and frame and the correct Mauser legend and address on the slide. However, it has no obvious serial number stamped forward facing at the base of pistol grip where it is normally positioned, and its clearly never had a number there. It does however have the numbers 135 on the barrel and on the underside of the slide, not where you'd normally find them. The grips are also none standard. We can only assume that for some reason this pistol wasn't numbered in the normal manor and may have possible been part of a special batch or limited production run during WWII. Definitely worthy of some further research. The overall condition is superb with deep crisp even bluing and lovely undamaged matched wooden grips. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
