A lovely condition WWII Nazi Astra M300 pistol. During the Second World War Nazi Germany purchased 63,000 M300s from Spanish firm Astra chambered in 9mm Kurz. Pistols were delivered in small batches or blocks of serial numbers. This example dates to 1942 from its serial number and proof stamps and is one of only 2,500 delivered in October of that year. The finish, grips and magazine are all original .Correctly stamped with Waffen code WaA251 these pistols were destine for military channels to help supplement the shortage of sidearms within the German army. Small quantities were also supplied to the German Air Force ( Luftwaffe). These pistols were extremely well made and very reliable and for these reasons were very popular sidearms. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
