Product Information

This is a Second World War Beretta model 1935 chambered in 7.65mm. This Beretta was made in Italy in 1944 whilst the factory was garrisoned by the SS. Very few were produced that year with an estimated 65,000 pistols delivered to the German Army Headquarters in Italy between Aug 1944 and Feb, 1945. This figure also included the Model 1934 pistol. The known serial ranges were from 534000 to 599000, this pistol is number 574716. These pistols were marked with a 4/UT within an oval this stands for 4th Technnical Control Unit. These pistols do not carry any Nazi Waffenamt stamps. Most were issued to German forces. Its compact size, reliability and build quality made it a popular weapon of choice with German soldiers. This example is all matching numbers including barrel with its original late war finish, grips and correct magazine. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
