This is a WWII Nazi manufactured Browning 1922 designated as the model 626(b) by the Germans. This model succeeded the WaA103 variant in late 1941 and continued to be produced until the FN factory was liberated in 1944.  These pistols serial range started around 67,000 to 68,000 however this example could be one of the earliest known examples being serial number 65,596. It has all matching numbers and the correct WaA140 acceptance and Eagle proof stamps. The magazine is also correctly stamped WaA140 on the spine. They were issued to the Luftwaffe, German government and military as officer's and official's sidearms. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.Comes with an EU/UK deactivation certificate.
