Product Information

This is a Second World War German P38 that looks to have had an intriguing service life. At some stage, either during or after the war it was assembled using parts from all three of the wartime P38 manufactures. The slide was manufactured in 1944 by Walther (ac 44 with Waffen stamp Eagle over 359), the frame by Spree Werke -cyq (Waffen code Eagle over 88), and the barrel by Mauser ( Waffen code Eagle over 135). If it was captured, it doesn't appear to have been by the Russian's, in fact there are no other obvious property or ownership stamps to be found. After the war had ended many of the European occupied countries had quantities of serviceable captured and abandoned German weaponry. This may explain how this pistol ended up like this!

Deactivated to current specifications.

This item is available for purchase and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
