Deactivated WWII Nazi PO8 Luger

This is an early WWII Nazi PO8 Luger dated 1939. The receiver bears the correct early wartime Mauser Waffen acceptance stamps Eagle over 665. The magazine is wartime and is marked FXO Eagle 37 (CG Haenal) Nazi acceptance stamp. The pistol bears no other countries ownership or capture markings and at some stage during its service life this Luger was either reworked or captured. The toggle is a WWI DWM example. During the latter stages of the WWII German arms companies used any remaining parts to assemble serviceable weapons. Captured guns were also put back into service to arm and police occupied territories.
