A WWII military marked Nazi Walther PP pistol. This PP is stamped with military acceptance Waffenamt stamps WaA359 that was assigned to Walther manufactured weapons. Only 66,000 of this variant were marked and issued to the military during the Second World War. Very few when you consider around a million were produced during the entire Nazi production period. This example bears an uncharacteristic and genuine mistake in the serial number on the slide. The operator forgot to change the number stamp from a 0 to 1 before it was struck. The correct number was then struck over the zero. The pistol bears the correct  Eagle over N nitro proof stamps, black plastic grips and an original wartime magazine. The serial number dates to 1944 and would have been among the very last batches of military procured PPs. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
