Product Information

This is a late World War Two Nazi Walther "ac" coded P38 with matching numbers. The serial number dates to March 1944 as the month and year of manufacture. At this stage of the war all available weapons were urgently required, overall finish wasn't that important. This can be on this example. The slide still has machining marks whereas early examples would have received a further machining process before bluing. Many of these pistols were deployed to the Western Fronts where the Germans launched their last major offensive through the densely forested Ardennes region of Wallonia in eastern Belgium, northeast France, and Luxembourg. This is better known as the "The Battle of the Bulge" that took place from December 1944 – January 1945.

A great example with its original finish, cherry Bakelite grips and an original wartime magazine. Deactivated to EU specifications with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
