Product Information

This P38 was manufactured in December 1944 just four months before the Walther factory ceased production. In April 1945 the Walther fascilty was captured by Allied forces. At some stage during its service life the barrel was replaced. This would indicate that it saw service in the latter stages of the war. The armorer has struck out and renumbered. The magazine has also had the numbers struck out and is an original wartime exmple with the Walther 359 code acceptance stamped on the spine. The pistol has no Russian capture stamps or any other countries ownership markings which suggests this was done either by the Germans or post war when it may have been reissued. A facinating pistol.
