Product Information

An excellent condition deactivated Czechoslovakian ZB30 machine gun. Like the ZB-26, the Wehrmacht adopted the ZB-30 after the invasion of Czechoslovakia, re-designating it the MG30(t). It was used in the same role as the MG34, as a light machine gun. In the opening stages of World War II, the ZB-30 was used in large numbers by units of the German Waffen SS. They were also deployed and used during the defence of the beaches of France during the Allied D-Day landings. It is considered by many to be the finest light machine gun of WWII. Using the same design, the British developed the legendary Bren gun. The markings on the stock "1.TRZ" are Yugoslav, this is most likely where this one ended up after WWII. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. Comes with wooden transit case, gun bag, complete tool roll including various unissued parts, mag pouch, magazine loading tool and magazine and tool cases. A great set.
