A genuine Second World War German MG34 Panzerlauf or Panzermantel, as its often referred to.  (Schwerer Lauf ("heavy barrel") or Panzerlauf ("armor barrel"). They were used on tanks and other armored vehicles. Very few survived as most German tanks and vehicles were destroyed, along with the there machine guns.This example was manufactured by Maget of Berlin makers code CRA, who of the two manufactures producing this type of MG34, made by far the fewest.  It is all matching numbers with exception of the bolt (which is also CRA made). It has crisp clear and correct Waffenamt codes and is in superb original condition, dated 1943. A very rare MG34. It is also clear from the even ware on all parts of the barrel jacket, that this example is completely original and has remained untouched. Comes supplied with correct storage case, used to store the ground attachments parts within the tank or vehicle. Plus wartime dated inert 7.92mm rounds and belt. original 1941 dated leather sling. Also available separately, but not included in the price, is a genuine issued MG34 tool kit and accessories( All correct), including spider sight and barrel mit. You are unlikely to find a more complete and comprehensive set, within the UK. This MG34 is that scarce that even the Imperial War Museum (who own just about every German WWII weapon ever made) don't have this model. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
