Just Arrived, Deactivated First Year of manufacture Nazi K98

This is a very rare first year of manufacture German K98. The secret makers S/147K was only used by JP Sauer in 1934 with the positioning of the code on the right side of the receiver next to the early Weimar-Eagle Waffenamts stamps. The estimated production based on serial numbers is only 7,656 rifles. No letter suffix examples have been noted. This example is number 6633 from that batch. Early K98s such as this one were among the very first in service with the Nazi regime and saw extensive service in the pre war hostilities within Germany and during the war, and for these reasons very few now exist.

This rifle has just been imported from Germany by us and is brand new to the collectors marked. It is available for purchase and is currently at the proof house being certificate.
