Product Information

This is an early production WWII Nazi "Slab Sided" MP40 submachine gun. The makers code is "bnz 41" - Steyr 1941. The slab sided MP40's were only in production until 1943 and were phased out as th more common ribbed magazine variant replaced it. As the name suggests the magazine housing is smooth/flat or slab sided. This example also has the early slotted magazine well, this design feature was also phased out. It also features a rare MP38 bolt and cocking lever and an MP41 magazine. This MP40 is covered in a plethora of Nazi Waffen acceptance stamps and sub-contractors codes. The MP40 is one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable weapons of WWII.

It has been deactivated with a tensioned cocking lever that can be pulled backed and will return under the pressure from the original plunger mechanism.

This item is available for purchase and is currently at the proof house being certificate.
