A superb condition WWII Nazi Black Widow PO8 Luger with all matching numbers and correct black bakelite grips with rare PO8 and Nazi stamped magazine. Correctly marked with "P08" on the left side of the frame and Waffenamt codes on the right hand side. The 655 proof with straight wings indicate early 1941 production.  The Black Widow is one of the most sought after of the Luger variants, and was only ever produced in limited numbers from 1941-42. Germany devised a series of manufacturer codes, the intention was to deny production information to the military intelligence services of other countries. The 'BYF 41' code indicated  Mauser 1941 as the year of manufacture. A rare pistol. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
