Product Information

A great condition WWII German K98. Manufactured by Mauser under the byf coding of 1943 with matching bolt. This example is fitted with the correct  laminated beech wood stock and still retains the majority of it original matched parts. 1943 saw greater emphasis placed on production numbers due to the staggering losses of men and weapons on all fronts. During WWII this K98 was used during the Nazi occupation of Norway. Norway was of huge strategic importance to Germany for both its navy and airforce and trade routes. After Germany had surrendered the Nords used these captured weapons to arm its own forces. This one was issued to the Norwegian army (HÆR = Army Land Forces). Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
