A superb condition and all matched Lee Enfield No5 MKI Jungle Carbine. Manufactured by Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Fazakerley (F), dated September 1946 (9/46). This one is from one of the very last batches ever made with production ceasing in late 1947. The vast majority were made during 1944 and 45, making these latter examples equally desirable. Post WWII the No5 saw extensive service use during many conflicts including Korea, Suez Crisis and Malaysia to name a few and proved very popular with troops. Comes fitted with canvas sling. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
