A very impressive Beretta model 1935. Very similar to the model 1934 but chambered in 7.65mm. This model was used by Italian and German forces during WWII and continued in service with both military and police after the war ended. Production finished in 1967. The serial number of this pistol dates to just after the war, around 1945 to 1947. The proof stamps are crown over P.D. - Prova Definitiva (Final Proof), and above is a rampant lion for the Brescia proof house. PS within a circle indicates that it was a police weapon - Pubblica Sicurezzio - Police Security. The initials AF in a box mean that this pistol was reworked in 1980. Deactivated with moving parts it comes with an EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
