Product Information

Deactivated Zastava-Kragujeva Yugoslavian RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova) Machine gun, Model M72B1 Dated 1986 (Cold War Era). An all matching numbers example.  It was originally created and designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army in the 1950's. The design is based on the AK47. The M72 has a heavier barrel with cooling fins, to cope with sustained and prolonged fire. It continues to be used by many armed forces around the world today often in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorist organisations. With all matching numbers, it comes with one banana magazines, leather carry strap and drum magazine, plus inert rounds. Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired (old specification type deactivation) . Due to the new rules imposed by the Home Office this type of machine gun is no longer deactivated with moving parts.
