This is a German Bundeswehr - German Federal Office of Defence issued Walther P1. This pistol dates to September 1976 (9/76) and is marked with the initials BW - Bundeswehr and would have been issued to German military and police personnel. The P1 is near identical copy of the WWII Nazi P38 but with aluminum frame. Although not pictured this one comes fitted with the correct P1 designated magazine.
