A super Condition early production Walther PP by Manurhin. Chambered in 7.65mm. Original grips, magazine and factory blued finish with a very low serial number 17562. It dates to 1953 the second year of production. After WWII had ended Carl Walther fled Germany to escape capture, after talks, he entered into an agreement with French company Manurhin that permitted Manurhin to produce his model PP and PPK pistols in France, under a royalty agreement with production starting in 1952. These cold war pistols are identical to the wartime examples and were supplied to military, police and law enforcement agencies. Comes with a German police issued post war black leather holster. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
