An Enfield made Bren MKIII chambered in .303. The Mark III version was introduced in 1944 seeing action in the latter stages of the was. It was also used post war by the British in Korea, Malaya and Cyprus to name a few were it proved very effective and was popular with troops. Many were converted to the then new 7.62mm ammunition and saw service in Northern Ireland, the Falklands and the Gulf War. The MKIII is often associated with Airborne troops but was issued widely among ground forces. This example has all matching numbers including barrel and is dated 1956 with its original finish. Deactivated to current specifications with moving parts.
